Two kinds of roof warranty
Every new roof comes with two separate kinds of protection. It helps to know the difference when you compare quotes.
| Workmanship warranty | Covers how the roof was installed. It comes from Big Al's Roofing, and it's in writing in your contract. |

| Manufacturer warranty | Covers defects in the materials: shingles, tile, underlayment or metal panels. It comes from the manufacturer, and terms vary by product and system. |
Our workmanship warranty
Every Big Al's roof comes with a 10-year labor warranty. If something we installed isn't right because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it at no charge for labor. The warranty terms are written into your contract, so you know exactly what's covered before work starts.

Manufacturer warranties
The products we install carry their own warranties. Some manufacturers offer extended system warranties when their matching components are used together and the roof is registered. We'll explain which warranty applies to your roof and help you register it.

Keeping your warranty in good standing
- Keep your contract, permit, final inspection and warranty registration together.
- Have the roof maintained. See roof maintenance.
- Call us before anyone else works on the roof, like satellite, solar or A/C installers. Holes they make can affect coverage.
